Perfect Peony

I'm in the mood for crocheting flowers but want large ones.....and boy did I find a large one!  This gorgeous beauty used almost an entire skein!  There are tons of stitches in this one flower!

Gorgeous!  Love this Free PATTERN.

I may be linking to THESE parties!

P.S.  My face is doing MUCH better.  Here is what it looked liked today before running errands:

Thank goodness!   Can you believe the improvement in just 2 days of Simply Divine Botanical products? (I had a chemical peel allergic reaction disaster, blogged HERE.)

I later added a jewel in the center and combined it with other flowers for a beautiful crochet floral bouquet:

  1. What do you have planned for this lovely flower? I saw the pattern, which was great, but I would never wear it?!?!? Just wondering! Thx

  4. So pretty! I love the color blue you used. My mom is a master crocheter (is there such a thing) but I didn't get that gene. I'm in awe of your gift.

  16. The flower is beautiful! I can't believe how much yarn it used.

Ok, I have to say I am so glad your face is healing. I was just looking at the blog post about it. WOW. I totally understand though, I have crazy sensitive skin (I can't use anything with any fragrance in it and only Wisk laundry detergent) AND a big pain threshold.
