We took these photos just prior to taking Holt to his birthday dinner, where he ate a 22 oz Porterhouse steak with all the trimmings, sides, etc. 2
nd most expensive thing on the menu, but he wouldn't be Holt if he ordered something reasonable.
lol And he wonders why we don't invite him to dinner more often.
lolAnd since Holt needed a car, we gave him Ryan's older car (1995 Geo
Prizm) and got Ryan this used car we found locally, a 1999
Acura 3.0 CL. He loves it - loaded, leather heated seats, moon roof, Bose stereo system, performance car - all for just over $3000. Bargain shopping!! I was watching
Craigslist like a hawk, and we inquired and were viewing this car in person within 1 hour of it's posting. Had it inspected by our mechanic and it is in pristine shape! The good ones go fast, let me tell you!
I didn't know I was in this picture!
lol So much for getting out of the way.
Update on Ryan: He enrolled this morning at the local community college in
Pre-pharmacy and is taking 17 hours - Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, Public Speaking and Psychology. He had recently found out there was no chance to walk on the golf team at Ole' Miss this entire next year, so he researched the community college. He's not only saving over $4000 but the CC has a golf team and he's welcome to be on it! It will officially take up in the Spring, but he will continue golfing with his chiropractor buddy of his all over North MS. He has to maintain a 3.5 GPA for the
pre-pharmacy program, so he will be buckling down. He actually seems excited!
I'm too young to have 20 and 17 year old children!! Have a great day!
P.S. Holt got his hair cut today.........and Ryan is taking credit for the style recommendation to go shorter on the sides. I think it looks great!
