Flooring Inspiration - New Rugs

New rugs at our house.....when I decided to put all that hand-scraped hardwood, I didn't realize it would take me 8 months to find the rugs I liked....

But we are really happy with these and the blue undertone gray rugs go perfectly with the rug we bought for the great room.

I still go back and forth on whether I should have used soft blue as my accent color in the new house....may still some day.....EngineerHubby not a huge fan......so for now, I will enjoy photos!

I strongly believe that the ONLY thing we have that someone cannot take away, cannot effect...is our WORD.  If our word isn't "gold"...then what DO we have?

New Decor

I've done some redecorating since removing Christmas decor...and wanted to share some photos:

I think I may order one more set of these hydrangea vases when they come back up on .........can you guess?????  Joss & Main!!

Joss and Main is a FREE online boutique....once you sign up ...you get an email every morning at 10am.....if you see sales that interest you, great...check them out.  If not, delete.  Each sale typically lasts 3 days.  I seriously cannot tell you what a great resource this is so I encourage you to even sign up for a trial basis..you can always cancel.  Remember, it is FREE.  And if you plan to buy nothing, it is a GREAT resource to get decorating ideas....

Other items were most likely purchased at TJ Maxx, Marshalls or Home Goods.  This gal is on a budget!  No full price shopping at my home!  Did you know those stores get at least 3 trucks a week, so it is bet to run through frequently and "know" the merchandise so you can quickly grab what is new.....and as always, keep the tags on until you decide if it will work.  But if you wait to purchase...it won't be there when you go back.  Learned that hard lesson!

I snapped this photo the other night showing some new decor from Joss & Main (of course, where else!).....and the new cabinet all decked out for Christmas.

Also, trying a new hairstyle for me......very different (to me) styling-wise.  I tell you....if you would love some easy hair, grow you hair out!  So much less work than when it was shorter...

Noosa Yogurt....Oh my!

I was toodling through Whole Foods the other day.....and decided I'd grab a quick snack.  I love to grab a yogurt, get a utensil on the way out, and enjoy.

I spied a new option - Noosa Yoghurt.  In a couple interesting flavors....Blueberry (YUM!), Mango, Strawberry-Rhubarb, Peach, Raspberry and Honey.   I read the label and finally just decided to try it.  If you go to their website above and like their Facebook page, you can get a coupon for your purchase.

YOU HAVE TO GO TRY THIS YOGURT!!!  Oh MY goodness!!

From what I've read, this is Australian-style yogurt from Colorado.  I don't care where it's from.  I sent my oldest son back to Whole Foods to get more....got EngineerHubby his favorite peach...and also trying the Mango.  Raspberry is next up!

Please treat yourself...I've heard this is also available at Target, but I have not verified.
