There is a God!

My sister emailed me yesterday with the declaration - There IS a God! - with details and photos of her son's unfortunate wreck this week.  All 3 teenagers (driver and 2 passengers) walked away with very little injury.  Police said if one of them had been in the jump seat, he/she would be dead.  The truck fishtailed and rolled......it is a miracle everyone is OK.  Unfamiliar curvy roads can be dangerous!

"I am safe and protected by God
in every situation."

I am praising God for the safety of all involved!!

These photos just give me chills.  So thankful everyone is OK.

  2. Accidents on roads like that are scary. When I was a freshman in college, my parents bought me a new car. What we didn't know at the time was how quickly the windows of that particular car could fog up. Like one second they would be fine, and the next second all the windows would have fog so thick you couldn't see.

About 4 days after we got tht car, I was late for class and meant to drive fast to make it on time. Normally, that road was pretty desserted, but that day, there was a little old man creeping along in front of me, and another car behind me. Of course, being an obnoxious 18 year old, I was annoyed out of my mind that this little old man wouldn't go the speed limit.

When we were going around a curve with a rock cliff, my entire car fogged up. I couldn't see a thing and paniced. First I knew I couldn't stop with that car behind me, but I also feared hitting the man in front of me, so I slowed down even more.

Instead, the passenger side of my car hit the rock cliff. When the window broke, I could see out again and noticed both cars were gone. The passenger side of my new car was totalled, but I was uninjured.

To this day, I still wonder if there were two angels in those cars to make sure I didn't go as fast as I planned to that day. I probably would have been dead or substained a severe injury if I had.

I'm so glad that your nephew and his friends walked away from such a bad accident. Sounds like they were very blessed.

  4. I am so glad they all are okay.

My son was in an accident over a year ago when a tree fell onto his moving car. It was windy and the huge tree snapped off at the ground and fell onto the car. Thank goodness he did not have a passanger. He to walked away with little more than scratches. You can see my pics on my blog dated last April.
